The best time of year to go deep sea fishing in Hilton Head Island is from April to June. This is when the weather is warm and the fish are biting. Blue Water Trolling (Must Call To Book)
This is the Ultimate Fishing Experience. On this charter we will leave the docks at approximately 2AM and set a course to the Gulf Stream. Once we arrive at the Gulf Stream anything is possible. We will be targeting Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo and Sailfish. On a rare occasion, we are fortunate enough to have some Marlin activity. This is the True experience, you will spend all day in the Sun on the ocean waves without sight of land, practically no sleep and a bag lunch (not included). Once we have had our fill of Blue water trolling, we will stop at the “Dinner Bucket” on the way home to make a small effort targeting bottom species such as Grouper, Snapper, Trigger, Sea Bass, Cobia and Mackerel just to name the most popular. This experience is very weather dependent, therefore the booking process is different.
There will be 1 Blue Water Trolling trip offered each week for a price of $3,000. You may pick your desired day to fish, but be prepared to fish any day you are in town. The Captain will pick the Best weather option for your trip. A $1000 deposit is required to book the trip and the remaining balance of $2000 will be charged at departure of the day we actually fish. If the weather is not suitable for Blue water trolling, your deposit of $1000 will be applied to any other shorter trip that we offer, which doesn’t require “Perfect” weather. Any remaining deposit funds from a shorter trip will be refunded. If the Captain determines the weather to be completely unfishable then 100% of deposit will be refunded.
